We Train You to Train Your Dog
At FWOTC, we love dogs. Our goal is to help you build and develop connections with your beloved dog. Our non-profit organization was started in 1946, and exists to serve the community by providing resources to train, bond, and participate in fun activities with your dog! We offer several public, beginner, and club member classes throughout the year, and also host numerous events and trials. Our club is conveniently located at the Allen County Fairgrounds, on Carroll Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Pure bred, rescue, large, or small – at the Fort Wayne Obedience Training Club (FWOTC), we strive to promote responsible dog ownership and assist you in making your dog a happy, well-adjusted, and more confident canine citizen. Our team of instructors consists of passionate volunteers who are dedicated dog lovers - many of them compete in various disciplines, have earned prestigious titles, and are recognized as AKC evaluators. At FWOTC, there are numerous classes and engaging activities that our members can enjoy and participate in, ensuring a rewarding experience for both dogs and their owners.
Where Do I Start?
Interested in getting more involved with your dog, but not quite sure where to start? We are happy to help you on your dog training journey. At Fort Wayne Obedience Training Club (FWOTC), you will start with a public obedience class to begin laying a solid foundation for you and your dog.
Once you become a member, you will have the opportunity to participate in many activities and engaging events with your dog.

Whether you are looking to engage in a hobby or aiming for competition, there are so many exciting companion and sport-related activities you can participate in with your dog as a valued member of FWOTC.
Events & Trials
Are you interested in participating in obedience trials, rally events, scent work, or agility trials? FWOTC hosts multiple exciting club events and sanctioned trials throughout the year for both members and their canine companions.
In addition to trials, you can also join in on one of our many organized dog walks, and engage in other fun and enriching activities tailored for dogs and their owners.
